This is a teaching, demo and playing session for bass, acoustic and electric guitar players starting to explore blues scales, theory and style! All material will be provided at the session, small amount of pre workshop prep recommended.

About the event
In this session, myself and guest guitar teacher James Hobley will be delving into how to create licks, riffs and soloing ideas against a major and minor 12 bar blues. Perfect if you are starting to explore blues playing, jamming to backing tracks or have already done the Beginner Blues workshops. There will be demos, teaching and playing on the day in a small group with plenty of support and encouragement.
Pre-workshop prep will be familiarising yourself with the Pentatonic and Blues scale in A and perhaps a riff or short simple lead line to practice. Guitarists should be comfortable to strum basic 12 bar blues chords - A, Am, A7, D, Dm, D7 and E, Em, E7. Barre chords optional. (Pre workshop material will be sent to you)
Suitable for competent beginner and developing bass players and acoustic/electric guitar players :)
