Always fancied trying out a looper pedal?
This session gives you the chance to ‘try one before you buy one’.
You will learn how to record multiple layers with a guitar and add bass, vocals and percussion if you like. It’s a great tool for practising, arranging parts, songwriting or just recording your ideas or favourite noodling. We’ll be using the JamMan stereo looper by Digitech.
Cost: £30 for one and a half hour workshop. Email to book a session!
If you fancy a go at creating Ed Sheeran, KT Tunstall or some cool electric blues we can do that too.
Stuck for ideas for Christmas? These vouchers make ideal gifts, choose between a single session for £25 or a four session Getting Started on Bass Guitar Course for £95. Book to suit, resource pack included. Email me for further details.
(Once purchased, vouchers are non-refundable)

Two reasons why you need a metronome/ drum beat gadget when you start learning bass or guitar:
- Right from the start you’ll be learning to keep in time
- Practice is much more purposeful and fun
Drum Beats Plus
Can be downloaded for Android, iPhone and iPad.
This is my favourite app, I use it ALL the time
We might find it hard to put into words but chances are you have a favourite song that just wouldn’t be what it is without THAT bassline. Not only does this short video explain what musical ‘job’ the bass player is doing, (I mean, how many bands can you think of who don’t have one?), it will make you WANT to be a bass player.
